Summer Fun

One of our few sunny days this summer, my daughter Megan and our dog Ranger in the garden.

This summer has been terrible, only a handful of sunny days and far too much rain!!! What a disappointment for the kids as they have been hardly anywhere in the summer hols because of the unsettled weather.

Rusty and Zippy

My daughter Megan made this for my blog. These are her 2 guinea-pigs Rusty and Zippy. They are 3mths old, she nagged me for ages for a pet of her own! They
are very lovable and great pets for kids, not aggressive at all.

As you can see from Megan's work, she is learning from mum......LOL She loves
playing in PSP and learning from watching me!

Newest Family Addition

Our newest arrival 'Tabby' not sure if it is a boy or girl yet.

Will find out on Thursday, as we take Tabby to the vet for it's 1st

injection.

We got Tabby from a friend of mine, it is now almost 9wks old and

a real little terror!! Very mischevious and never out of trouble......LOL

Adores ripping apart my son's slippers and anyone elses shoes or slippers

it comes across.

Will let you know if it is a boy or girl kitty.... Tabby is a BOY, confirmed by the vet.

Rockstar

Lewis luvs death metal and heavy rock music, couldn't resist using

this AWESOME scrap kit! It is perfect for him. He also likes

to play guitar.

Dad - April 2008

My father is 80yrs young now and has been retired for

10yrs. He had his own business and also had a riding

school. A very strict father but always fair.

He still drives and loves to potter about in the garden.

His health is up and down, suffers from very high blood

pressure. Reading, driving and gardening are his fav

things.

Sadly his wife, my mother passed away almost 7yrs ago. I

get frightened and sad as I know that he won't be with us for much longer.

We don't always get on very well but he is my dad and I love him.

Your parents are your best friends and we should never forget that!

Castle Campbell Jaunt

It was a hell of a hike up to the castle but well worth it!

The view from the tower was beautiful and it was a

bright sunny day which is unusual for Scotland.......LOL

Castle Campbell is nicknamed gloomy castle, it is small

and pretty dismal inside. The garden at the castle was nice

and we saw a pheasant strutting it's stuff! It was nice to get

away for an afternoon out, looking forward to the summer coming

and more trips out!

I Hate Mondays!

LOL...............I HATE MONDAY'S!!! Megan was off school today,

she had a sore tummy and sore head. She is not sleeping well this evening,

cold one minute and sweating the next. Definately coming down with

something and now Lewis is wheezing very badly so I will be keeping

both kids off school tomorrow.

We watched the Golden Compass tonight, I enjoyed the film but I thought

it had a really crap ending!!! These big movies always get way too much

hype and when you settle down to watch one 9 times out of ten you feel

disappointed and that the movie has been over-rated!

That's my grumble for this Monday, past 1am here so I am gonna get to

bed and try and get some sleep.
